Magika is an EMMY, BDA and PROMAX Award winning broadcast design team. We create complete design packages for networks and titles and in-show graphics for individual shows. Our ist of television clients is extensive including; Disney, Warner Bros., Comedy Central, MGM, FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, HBO, Paramount, the Africa Channel, the History Channel, the National Geographic Channel, GDTV, China and Zhujiang TV, China, where we were the first American designers to create network design packages for two major Chinese networks.
As Creative Directors for The Africa Channel, we were in charge of all branding and design for on-air logos, graphics, animations, design for promos, web, print, ad and all collateral materials. We worked with the founding members to brand, promote, launch and maintain all aspects of the national and international cable network.
We have created show opens, logos and graphic packages for numerous individual productions including; “American Idol”, “Extreme Makeover”, an Emmy Award nominated package for “Beyond, with James Van Praagh”. “Miss Universe”, “Miss USA”, “Comedy Central Presents”, Emmy winning work for Fox’s “Front Page”, “The Most Fascinating Women”, “The Essence Awards” “Mickey Mouse Club”and numerous shows for the History Channel, PBS and National Geographic.
